<\/span>Flowdec PU <\/strong><\/p>\n

This aesthetic PU<\/strong> (polyurethane) poured floor<\/strong> , is made up of a primer, a self-levelling compound, the coloured pouring layer and a top coat. The floor therefore consists of 4 layers.<\/p>\n

The choice of primer depends on the type of substrate. To make it easy for you, we have added a document in Downloads<\/a><\/strong> below so you can easily see for yourself which primer is the most suitable for you. The epoxy self-levelling compound has 2 functions: to ensure air cannot rise from the substrate (which is necessary to prevent air bubbles in the finished floor) and to eliminate small irregularities in the substrate.<\/p>\n

The coloured poured floor itself is made from tough-elastic polyurethane resin. This means the floor is not as hard, but is slightly more flexible than a standard epoxy poured floor. This reduces the chances of small hairline cracks, while making it more pleasant to walk on.<\/p>\n

The Flowdec PU is given an extra top coat. This coloured<\/strong> varnish<\/strong> is available in most RAL and NCS colours. The water-based top coat ensures the whole has a very flat\/tight surface.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
