The 1-2 mm gravel grains have a UV-resistant PU colour coating. The <strong>coating process<\/strong> takes place at a high temperature for optimum wear resistance of the coloured gravel grains.<\/p>\n<p>This floor consists of <strong>4 layers<\/strong>: primer \u2013 stone carpet \u2013 wear-resistant and <strong>waterproof pore-filler<\/strong> (2x) \u2013 very scratch-resistant topcoat. The minimum floor construction depth of this system is 6 mm. The choice of primer depends on the type of substrate. To make it easy for you, we have added a document in <a href=\"#downloads\"><strong>Downloads<\/strong><\/a> below so you can easily see for yourself which primer is the most suitable for you.<\/p>\n<p>The PU binder used for this system is 100% UV resistant, which prevents <strong>discolouration<\/strong> and reserves the original colour at all times (this is especially important with large windows, or light colours). Not all pigments are UV stable; therefore, a list of colours that have been tested for UV resistance can be found under the downloads section.<\/p>\n<p>Stonedec Ultimate makes use of the highest quality <strong>pore filler<\/strong> that is currently available on the market: UV resistant (so no discolouration), <strong>very wear-resistant<\/strong>, and better <strong>protection against prolonged water exposure<\/strong> (with a standard pore filler, white spots can appear after long-term water exposure). The polyaspartic screed can be applied very easily and ensures 99% of the openings between the stones are closed.
