<\/span>Stonecarpet Extra<\/strong><\/p>\n

The basis of this “open structure\u201d decorative gravel floor is formed by colored<\/strong> quartz stones <\/strong>of 2-3 mm or 3-4 mm and a high-quality epoxy binder<\/strong>. To optimize wear resistance<\/strong>, the coating process is done at high temperature.<\/p>\n

This floor consists of 3 layers<\/strong>: primer \u2013 stone carpet \u2013 topcoat. The minimum installation height of this system is 6 mm or 8 mm depending on the chosen grain size. The choice of primer depends on the type of substrate. To make it easy for you, we have added a document in Downloads<\/a><\/strong> below so you can easily see for yourself which primer is the most suitable for you.<\/p>\n

The epoxy binder used in this system was developed specially for aesthetic applications to keep discolouration to a minimum. In this respect, it is one of the best in the market. As an option<\/strong>, you can also choose an emission-free<\/strong> system. These systems do not release harmful substances during installation or after the floor has been commissioned. This means the floor will also comply with European directives, as well as Belgian, German (AGBB) and\/or French (A+) emission legislation for indoor floors used in homes and offices.<\/p>\n

The Extra version also comes with a beautiful glossy topcoat <\/strong>(a glossy varnish layer), which offers 3 additional benefits:<\/p>\n

    1. Thanks to the additional UV blockers that were added, the discoloration process<\/strong> of the epoxy binder used in the stone carpet will be greatly delayed<\/strong> <\/li>\n
    2. Thanks to theEASY-TO-CLEAN properties, dirt will not adhere to the stone carpet, while coffee, wine, etc. stains are a lot easier to clean<\/strong> compared to a standard stone carpet.<\/li>\n
