<\/span>Stonecarpet Premium<\/strong><\/p>\n

The basis of this “open structure\u201d decorative gravel floor is formed by colored<\/strong> quartz stones <\/strong>and a high-quality PU binder<\/strong>. The gravel grains of 2-3 mm or 3-4 mm are wrapped with a UV-resistant PU color coating. To optimize wear resistance<\/strong>, the coating process is done at high temperature.<\/p>\n

This floor consists of 3 layers<\/strong>: primer \u2013 stone carpet \u2013 topcoat. The minimum installation height of this system is 6 mm or 8 mm depending on the chosen grain size. The choice of primer depends on the type of substrate. To make it easy for you, we have added a document in Downloads<\/strong><\/a> below so you can easily see for yourself which primer is the most suitable for you.<\/p>\n

The PU binder used for this system is 100% UV resistant, which prevents discolouration<\/strong> and reserves the original colour at all times. This is especially important in outdoor applications and with large window areas, or light colors. Not all pigments are UV stable; therefore, a list of colours that have been tested for UV resistance can be found under the downloads<\/strong><\/a> section. Although this system can be perfectly applied outdoors<\/strong>, this ultimate version has the advantage that it also greatly simplifies the cleanability of an open-structure stone carpet when applied indoors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In fact, the Premium version comes with a beautiful glossy topcoat <\/strong>(a glossy varnish layer), which, thanks to its EASY-TO-CLEAN<\/span> properties, ensures that dirt does not adhere to the stone carpet and any stains from coffee, wine,... are much easier to clean<\/strong> than with a standard stone carpet.<\/p>\n
